Description

Spooky night game for ages 9 to 12: nine tasks in the dark with flashlights, with sound riddles, shadow photos and quiz questions.

What the kids do

The group walks through an enchanted forest at dusk or after dark, and the phone guides them from station to station by GPS. The nine tasks alternate:

  • Three photo tasks: find a creepy place, photograph a scary shadow made with a flashlight, and pose with a tree that looks like it comes from a horror movie.
  • Three sound riddles: the kids listen closely and guess whether they hear an owl, footsteps or the wind.
  • Three multiple-choice questions about vampires, Frankenstein's monster and the witch's house in Hansel and Gretel.

Every task has hints behind the hint button, and tasks can be skipped.

Age and duration

The game is made for ages 9 to 12. The group plays with one phone and walks the route together. Plan on 30 to 90 minutes, depending on how far apart you place the stations. It works best in a garden, a park or a wood once it is dark.

  • Place the nine stations on the map, at least 30 meters apart and away from busy roads.
